In the past ten days the Washington-Liberty Performing Arts Department has logged a slew of accolades at District Assessments. W-L Band, Orchestra, Chamber Choir, and Advanced Choir were all given superior ratings at the District 12 Assessment concerts this month, with Orchestra specifically being hosted at Washington-Liberty. With all these awards, this will earn Washington-Liberty the honor of being named a Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) Blue Ribbon School designation. This will be the third year in a row that W-L has garnered the honor. Congratulations to our Choir Director Theresa Severin, Band Director Matthew Sedatole, and Orchestra Director David Lunt.
